ABOUT ALLISON

Allison Quade Lundeen is a performing violinist and private violin instructor based in Camillus, New York. She has performed throughout Upstate New York with various groups including the Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra, the Clinton Symphony of the Mohawk Valley, and the Orchestra of Northern New York, and she was the concertmaster of the Onondaga Civic Symphony Orchestra.​

Allison received her Master’s in Violin Performance in 2024 from the University of Oregon, where she studied with Hal Grossman. She also holds a Bachelor’s in Violin Performance from Ithaca College, where she studied with Cal Wiersma. She has also participated in violin masterclasses with Stefan Jackiw, Paul Kantor, Shannon Thomas, and Ben Baker.

Allison has almost a decade of experience teaching violin lessons. She has previously held teaching positions at the Pavilanis School of Music in Eugene, Oregon, and the Community Music Institute at the University of Oregon. In 2023, she transitioned into private teaching, and now runs her own private violin studio in Camillus, NY.

In addition to teaching violin, Allison is also a certified yoga instructor. While pursuing this certification, Allison discovered a passion for mindfulness, which she carried into her musical practice. She is a passionate advocate for musician's wellness, both mental and physical, and promotes awareness of mental health and injury prevention. 

Allison lives with her husband Owen in Camillus, NY. Aside from music, she enjoys baking, practicing yoga, and reading.
